Album Review/ Rock : Mick J Clark’s ‘Pole Position’

Mick J Clark is a singer-songwriter and a classic rock artist with a voice like butter. The artist has such a natural style and charisma that translates to a unique performative allure. His music is a brand of its own and it’s delightful to take in. The emotion of it, the mood that he casts and the effortlessness that he brings to his craft. It’s all quite memorable. His latest release is ‘Pole Position’, a collection of tracks that is sure to elevate your day with its feel-good rhythms, thoughtful vocals, and insightful lyrics. 

The collection begins with ‘There’s Nothing Anybody Can Do’. It is a comforting track that feels like a hug. A track that just holds your hand as you go through it. Warm instrumentals are lush all around. He has a way of bringing the universal to personal experience. It makes you feel less alone in your experience. In ‘Everybody Needs a Place to Hide’, you’ll find such a lilting tenderness both in message and tone.
