Dance & Disco With Robert Vendetta’s ‘Vendetta Del Disco’

Robert Vendetta is a full on vibe. The man is brimming with so much energy, dance and vibrance that he creates that in the listener as well. The artist revives vintage genres like funk, disco, synthwave, and retro pop and vitalises them for a modern audience. Sprung with incredible rhythms and momentum, his album, ‘Vendetta Del Disco’ is a prime example of his sonic ethos. The album is the artist’s fourth collection and it is by far the best one. It is a modern disco movement and we are here for it.

‘Main Man’ breaks out the collection. It is instantly dynamic and promiscuous. The rhythm is playful and the melody line curious. And of course there’s disco. Such innovative and refreshing lines of it. Robert’s brilliance lies in how he brings it all into the narrative pool. In ‘Work, Work, Work’ he explores the melancholy and slavery of all work, no play. The quirk is layered with real experience and a whole lot of dance.

The disco in ‘Shrink’ dances a confession out of you. It is an anthem that liberates you of all worries, fears, anxieties, and insecurities. ‘Fool’ is mellow and drenched in a folk ambience. Robert’s vocals are vulnerable and contemplative. It is reminiscent of Queen’s slower numbers that are deep and evocative. ‘Here and Now’ has a similar ethos with the vocals sparked with blues and soul.

‘Vacation’ picks up pace again. The beats fall freely and the melodies are uplifting. It anticipates celebration and a whole lot of fun that connects thematically to ‘Work, Work, Work’. The title track is up next. It is disco-colored with a vengeance. Full of beats, synths, grooves, and harmonies, it drives up the sentiments of the heartfelt vocals.

‘Breathe’ comes in with a new wave of dynamism. It is feel-good and sunny. With soaring synths and groovy beats, it’ll have you refreshed and carefree by the end of it. Finally, ‘Set The World on Fire’. It is a stylish, charismatic, disco-powered fun. It grips us with immense potential and a rushing freedom.

Across the album, in all its tracks and themes, the artist drives at one thing : The virtue of taking it easy and enjoying life and everything it has to offer. So much of our lives gets lost in responsibilities and work. He reminds us that it’s okay not to take life so seriously. Each track not only reiterates the joy of experience and exploring but demonstrates the paradise that it is. Listen Now!
