With performances that take you to rock n roll heaven, they revive and recall moments from the 70s and 80s. You’ll see glimpses of artists that you fell in love with. And listening to DownTown Mystic’s interpretation of the genre, you’ll see how well they bring classic design to a new space. Their space. With their nuance and style. So get ready to get down with these fellas. It’s going to be a good time.
‘Way to Know (Remix) Radio Edit’ opens the EP. It hits the ground running. With its feel good grooves, luminous elements and crispy riffs, it keeps you passionate. And the vocals, with its coarse character and intense charisma is everything. It’s such a powerful feature in the song. ‘And You Know Why - Remix’ has a softer pulse. It has a lot of classic rock influence. With long and fluid grooves, it’s contemplative, expressive and full of a worldliness that makes you feel seen, understood. The TV mixes of these tracks have a more awakened layer. Produced to come out of the song itself, these tracks seem to be a little bit more vivid in its texture, instrumentals and sonic moments. With no vocals, they give you access to a deeper sense of the themes, of their artistic sophistication and just an immersive experience.
‘Hard Enough (Remix) Radio Edit’ and ‘Sometimes Wrong (1985) - 2026 Leon Zervos Remix’ have a remarkable retro sound. It’s hard in that rock n roll, with a driving beat line, tight tolling groove and a consistent riff flow. The vocals also bring that 70s feel to the track. Crass, raw and unapologetic as they lay all the feelings on the table. Despite the destruction of heartbreak, it’s there on the table for everyone to see. So defiant and blatant but at the same time affecting in that vintage way. The rock n roll is in there, with that groove power, bold vocal performances and bustling guitar presence. Listen Now!
