Song Review/ Acoustic Rock : Bash Co.’s ‘Velvet’
Bash Co. is a songwriter and producer with such a strong and passionate call. His music has a way of compelling the listener into his orbit of thought, feeling and poetry. ‘Velvet’ is his latest single. With strong guitar acoustics, a consistent rhythm, and a growing vocal range, the song ushers in an irrevocable connection, one that you make for life. His verses are expressive and thoughtful, tailored to evoke emotion in a plain yet poetic way.
There’s a little bit of a country flavor, some folk. There’s a classic rock raise in the chorus. However, it is a narrative track, a stream of consciousness flow that stands as itself. The artist doesn’t build based on style or genre. He lets the energy of the song, the emotion of the theme guide him. From contemplative valleys of verses to anthemic peaks. He follows the feeling and surrenders to it. The song is beautiful and well-rounded because of that! Listen Now!
