Song Review/ Alt Pop : Deptford Sound Collective’s ‘#KissMyArse The Queer Fight Back’

Deptford Sound Collective is the band, Queen for the modern age. They love to create flamboyant soundscapes that are vivid in color and incredible in energy. It’s intense but playful, full of sass and sensibility. An electro-pop orchestra that has now come to stand proudly by the queer people. Their latest track is ‘#KissMyArse The Queer Fight Back’. It is an R&B/ soul track that is popified and electric with funk grooves, fun dance beats, and vocals that wander and shoot. Drive and stand up. Lift and light up.

Everything in this track is about reclamation, about standing up for yourself with the voice that you have. It has an anthemic spirit. It is bold and undeniable and it has an edge and a bite. The Sound Collective have spun an incredible track that showcases defiance in a way that strikes at the heart and spirit of the community. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
