Song Review/ Alt Pop : Gina Wilder’s ‘3x5’

Gina Wilder is a singer-songwriter and alt pop artist. She has a very expressive vocal style. One that grows into you and blooms with a colorful gradient. Her latest release is ‘3x5’, an acoustic pop track that builds moment by moment. Her vocals are raw and fresh, sung directly from the heart. The acoustics also flow from the same space. Treated more as another plane of language than just a melodic tool.

Together, the soundscape weaves through with warmth and vulnerability. It’s sentimental, confessional. Gradually, the soundscape is made more expansive. A cinematic sway that swirls with sensibilities. It immerses you and takes you with it. It’s a great feeling to have this song in your ear as you’re going for a walk. Or just thinking. It’s a journey, a movie, a flow. If you enjoy artists like Phoebe Bridgers, then you’ll especially like the sweetness of this artist’s style. Listen Now!
