Song Review/ Alt Pop : LUNA14’s ‘Zero Gravity’

LUNA14’s work is not just music. It is visual art. She crafts her songs with a sense of mystique and magic, creating beautiful layers of sound to bring the theme to life. Like in her latest release, ‘Zero Gravity’, she sets up a simple and dreamy soundscape that is in no rush to make sense of itself. It’s a journey, forming moment by moment. Everything in the song seems to have a floating energy, causal with nowhere to be, nothing to get to. A zero gravity zone.

So all the elements seem to be just in a state of being. The slow splashes of synths, the luminous tones, and the vocal expanse. They all ascend, ebb and flow, as if in a trance. The best way to listen to the song is to let it absorb into you because it creates an enchanting landscape inside you. Just like that, it travels through such beautiful stylistic scenery and spaces.
