Song Review/ Alt Rock : Hollows’s ‘Blood’

Hollows is an alt rock band who create such expansive soundscapes with incredible depth. Hollows that they create within the music that ties the theme. They have a way of bringing it alive. In their latest release, ‘Blood’, a dark and stormy soundscape is tempered with a soft gush of softness.

Their thoughtfulness in representing both the dominant and softer parts of the theme, brings so much beauty and depth into the song. Drifting riff-bass sheets are sprinkled with reflective piano melodies. And the vocals are a contemplative surge, lost in a world of melancholy and trying to make sense of it. The sound forms in waves and splashes, with such deep and dark colors. In so many indirect ways, the music speaks to the listener. All of them tie up in a deep hollow that supplies each verse with new life. Listen Now!
