Song Review/ Alt Rock : Lekursi’s ‘Amarna Letters’

Lekursi is a modernistic banner, a sound exploration that knows no bounds. Listening to their tracks, you feel like you’ve been carved open. There’s a sense of liberation that comes with every track. In their latest track, ‘Amarna Letters’, they curate intimate and emotional frames, bringing them to life with abstract electronica, post rock planes and jazz pieces. There are folk echoes, sounds of the sitar winding around, looping and orbiting this space.

It’s a collage, a superimposition of one along the other to create such vivid tapestries. All while maintaining a meaningful atmosphere, a strong sentimental command and a profound design. It’s nothing like anything. A novelty act with a sophisticated make.
