Song Review/ Indie : Allie Crummy’s ‘Entropy’

Allie Crummy is a singer-songwriter with a very deep thought dimension. Her songs take up a remarkable space in the alt pop plane. Blending intimate vocal moments with explorative and cerebral instrumental spaces, she dimensionalises the theme in new ways. Her latest release is ‘Entropy’, a track that discovers the randomness of the theme and represents them in interesting ways.

She weaves it in with life and how it manifests there while still involving a kind of sci-fi aesthetic. There’s a lot of blooming synths that are underpinned with experimental electronic motifs that make it feel alienic. And her vocals, drifting, floating dreamily above this space, light and full of a comforting illumination. It is retro but modern, kind of familiar, yet stimulatingly novel. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
