Song Review/ Indie Pop : Emerald Park’s ‘A Song to C’

Emerald Park is an indie pop outfit from Sweden. The band has a warm sound that has the ethos of a home grown sound. Every composition is marked by an intimate expression. Their music reveals the artist behind them, making it feel familiar and authentic. ‘A Song to C’ is the band’s latest release.

Made with electric synths, contemplative chords, resonant basslines and an expressive vocal line, it takes you back to the 80s. There is something softly retro throughout the composition reminiscent of a blend between The Smiths and outfits like Desire and Chromatics. It is a feel good, blended with active melancholy and a swirling dream romance. You can’t help but give in and dissolve into their sound. Listen Now!
