Song Review/ Indie Rock : Korda Korder’s ‘Goodbye My Friend’

Korda Korder is a dream pop - indie rock banner that mesmerises with their music. They have a way of swirling realities into enchanting atmospheres of song. For their latest release, ‘Goodbye my Friend’, they explored bittersweet moments of saying goodbye to a friend. There’s nostalgia, melancholy, memories, and a sense of magic.

Like Vincent Van Gogh’s painting, each verse comes alive, a vivid moment of emotion. The vocals are a delicate fluid, a mixture of liquid and air almost as they flow through the dazing riffs, plush chords, and climbing beats. There’s a lot of wispy elements that disperse across the soundscape; creating a surreal space, a romanticism and a fondness that we all remember loved ones with. It’s so special and endearing. If you enjoy artists like Beach House, Lana Del Rey and the like, you’re sure to love the ambience and mood that this track sets. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
