Song Review/ Novelty Pop : Sheldon Mashugana’s ‘It’s Turkey Day’

Sheldon Mashugana and Crystal Carr have just released their latest single, ‘It’s Turkey Day’. A novelty pop song that ushers in the holiday season with its comedic performance and folk country appeal. The artists cultivate the retro pop atmosphere with an uncluttered, steady and danceable rhythm. There’s also a little bit of that 1960s guitar pop charm. With this reliable rhythm flow, the artists develop a playful and catchy vocal flow.

It’s not meant to be complex or layered. Just simple and to the point, to arouse the holiday mood and imagery. To awaken the holiday excitement. Most of the chorus is just, ‘gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble, it’s turkey day’. It is an exclamation, an announcement that gets people to the table. If you want a feel good atmosphere to weave through your house, from room to room, this slapstick and wacky fun track is sure to bring that energy for you. Listen Now!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
