4fro Nick is an alt rock project of Greek born artist, Nick Anastasakis. The artist’s music is like an abstract painting with moments of absurdism blended with classic styles. With 4fro Nick, it’s never straightforward. It’s labyrinthine or at the very least coded in a way that compels the listener to come a little closer and involve themselves more in the soundscape to understand. His latest release is ‘Don’t Waste My Time (LA Mix)’, a classic example of the artist’s blended style and thought presentations. The track features buoyant grooves that are dilated with classic rock chords and bluesy touches.
However, there is a little bit of a contemporary fluidity to a few parts of it. The rhythms are especially spontaneous, keeping up effortlessly with the changing currents of the vocals and thematic presentations.
