Song Review/ Rock : Bullmaera’s ‘Imitator’

Bullmaera’s debut single, ‘Imitator (Demo)’ is a slow burn rock song that is made with hypnotic grooves, cold icy riffs and dazing chords. The vocals come into this instrumental atmosphere with a punk energy. Its defiance is soft but emphatic and it carries into the rolling grooves. The beats are underrated, kind of like a secret that is forming in the backdrop. When you tune in to its plane, a whole new world opens up.

With the cymbal accents climbing on the muted beat line, it disperses something mysterious, a new dimension that you can indulge. The track has a very moody sound. It draws you in with its cerebral sensibilities and compels you to make sense of it. It is clandestine and kind of bizarre, a punk that is replete with absurdist ideas and musical tendencies.
