Song Review/ Rock : Leave Quietly’s ‘Marce’

Leave Quietly is an indie pop boy band. Their sound is marked by their chaotic youth, sharp edgy energy, witty writing and an unbridled enthusiasm and will to play. Their latest release is ‘Marce’, a rock track that carries the soft pulse of punk and a kindred indie-ness in it. Think The Smiths meet The Strokes or The Modest Mouse.

The track has a striking dynamism. A whirlpool of emotion that is looped into a playful instrumental carousel of sorts. As one layer creates a rotating motif, another one sprawls, travelling and journeying with the vocals. The riffs are steady, the chords are melodic. There’s a lot of bustle, so much of the energy pulling out outward, but there’s a contemplative core to it. It’s fresh, modern, engaging and immersive. Listen Now!

Check out their Instagram, Facebook!

The track is available for streaming on popular sites like Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music!
