Song Review/ Rock : Lovepet Horror’s ‘Dance Routine #4’

Taken from Lovepet Horror’s latest album, ‘Sea Change’, ‘Dance Routine #4’ is a song that sounds exactly like its title. Fleshed out with an ethereal melodic outfit that makes it all feel very transcendental. The song blends dream pop with slanting moments of shoegaze and fresh indie rock. It’s youthful, modern and colored with a lot of grooves.

We see a disco style cast in a moody atmosphere. The tones are muted and the glamor is softened and made a little bit more deeper. With vocals that mellow out across tides of beats, synths, and riffs, they play with abstract and ever-changing dimensions. Both in style and sentiment. The complexity and current washes over you, draws you in and compels you to invest in it. To understand it and become fluid with it. If you enjoy artists like Tame Impala, then this song, this artist is definitely for you.
