EP Review/ Rock : ReeToxA’s ‘Demand Perfection’

ReeToxA has been exploring the many styles and possibilities of rock and its manifestation. They are true visionaries who love music and design, write, play and perform just for the sake of it. And it shows. The passion, the perfection, and the precision with which they go about their craft is truly remarkable. And speaking of perfection, you will love their musical take in their latest release, ‘Demand Perfection’. The track is bold, emphatic and full of warping surprises. It is an exploration of electro rock. Think a mix of Daft Punk and AC/DC. 

It’s hardcore with the cerebral divergence of electric grooves. They’re dry in a very pleasing way, and lend themselves to quick and intense progressions. And the vocals have a versatile voice. It has a strength, a resolve and an arrogance to it that suits the theme really well. 

The band has also released the karaoke version alongside it. It’s perfect because you can share in its energy and help create it by singing along. It has all the grooves and the electronic moments are more evident here. It can even just be enjoyed as an instrumental. There’s a drift to it. The retro-futurism aesthetic in the song takes a really vivid shape in this version. And you can have it on and just roam the ends of the world. The flush of the chords in the chorus, the flowing grooves in the verses and the electronic presence, all of it just becomes more clarified. Listen Now!
