Song Review/ Hard Rock : Giant Haze’s ‘The Healing’
Giant Haze makes music that sounds exactly like a giant haze. The alt rock band emerged from Northern Germany with an irrepressible angst in 2024. With influences of stoner rock and hardcore, they create music that is incredibly coarse and textured. With imprints and motifs that will send you off into a cerebral haze, they create fantastic realities. Their latest is ‘The Healing’. The spirit of this song is gigantic, it comes spilling out.
As if in a purge, the expands out of an old shell and keeps inflating to fill out the whole room around you. The atmosphere is grungy and grimy. The riffs are so incredibly dramatic. So much character and charisma. The basslines are splashy. And it beats a nice gut punch that you want to keep going back for. And the vocals, erupting from deep within this monster, rockets out of it with an exhilarating force that you feel all over you. It’s as if you’re being scratched and scrubbed off, in the best way till you’ve healed. Listen Now!
