Song Review/ Hard Rock : ReeToxA’s ‘War Killer’
ReeToxA is a hard rock/ alt rock band with no inhibitions. They hold nothing back and it shows. Their latest release is ‘War Killer’, a single that is a part of the ‘SOLILOQUY’ album. It’s one of their deeper rock tracks. The instrumentals run deep, bubbling with coarse texture and incredible ambience. It’s a satire, commenting on the hypocrisy of the incumbent American government. It is angsty, angry and full of that underground revolution.
A well made song with a strong thematic core that drives the sound. That kind of tunnel vision, especially in a rock song, played out really well. This band further ploughs into that feeling and drives deep to cut deep. We see incredible solos and a riff atmosphere that makes the darkness matter. It makes the theme matter.
