Cosmic Songbird is a musical project founded by Frances Yonge. Her ethereal style and mystical cinemas wrap around the soundscapes and nurture them into fantastical listening experiences. Her latest release is ‘The Dragon’s Eye’, a track that blooms with such a profound sentiment. It forms in a world of its own. Classical, jazz, blues influences bleed into the track.

There is so much lore and a saga that curls and curves out of her vocals. Her vocals are otherworldly, with an incredible lift. It is the portal through which you get to experience the other side of the sound. Piano melodies, accordions, vocal harmonies, and soft hued landscapes. So much romanticism. These features form into each other, layering and building. If you like music that sets out a mellow transcendence, a daze that you can disperse into, then this is the track for you.
